Ever wanted to explore the art of printmaking? Join Tamara for a beginner-friendly workshop where you'll learn how to carve a rubber block (a modern, easier-to-carve alternative to linocut) and print your unique designs onto paper.
No prior artistic experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity! Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to try a fun new craft, this class is perfect for you.
What You’ll Do
In this session, you'll:
Learn how to draw and trace designs onto rubber blocks.
Carve out your design using special carving tools.
Roll ink onto your carving and transfer your masterpiece onto paper.
Explore how your prints can be used on cards, bags, t-shirts, and more.
You’ll leave the class with:
A 10cm x 10cm rubber carving block.
A carving tool for future projects.
A collection of your own handmade prints.
A recycled printmaking kit to continue your creative journey at home.
What’s Provided
All materials are included:
Rubber block (10cm x 10cm).
Carving tool.
Ink, A4 paper, and a card for printing.
What to Bring
A small, simple drawing (optional). Don’t worry if you can’t draw—designs will be provided!
