Scattered Arts Members offer a variety of classes and workshops.
So if you would like to learn a new craft or sharpen up some rusty skills have a look at what is on offer.
If you don’t see what you are thinking of please give us a call and we will endeavour to assist you.
Bookings are made via Trybooking, with a link provided with each class detail when classes are open for bookings.

Each class cost varies and they run for approximately 2 hours. In most instances include all materials.
Payment is required at the time of booking.
Jewellery skills with Pauline Stevens
New classes available
A beginner’s class on how to use jewellery/beading tools. Pauline will show you how to complete two pairs of earrings. Advanced classes are available on request.
EARRING MAKING CLASS FOR BEGINNERS
In this class, you will make 3 pair of earrings, 1 pair will feature Paulines’ handmade lampwork beads.
Cost $50.00 includes tuition and everything needed is supplied.

Creative Textile Art Group with Pat Jefferies
New class available If you love fabric and art and would like to join a fabric art class come along to our group. We will use fabric to create/upcycle items into something that will be funky creative and beautiful.
Bookings are now open for our ‘Door Stop from a Shoe’ class.
This funky textile art shoe can be a doorstop or a bookend. Join Pat Jefferies for this fun class using a shoe, fabric strips, and glue to create a unique doorstop.No experience necessary – Cost $35.00All materials supplied.

Drawing Class for Beginner/intermediate with Sue Battis
New class available This 4- week course is designed to build on your skills and confidence. Have some fun while you learn about materials and techniques, styles, size, and shapes. Sue will help you tap into your creative flow, teaching you to loosen up with exercises. Classes are held each Wednesday for 4 weeks, commencing 3rd February and finishing Wednesday 24th February, OR each Saturday commencing 6th February and finishing Saturday 27th February. This course runs for 6 weeks commencing Monday 1st February 2021 and ends Monday 8th March 2021. Come and join Amie Dupuy for a couple of relaxing hours discovering the art of Watercolour.

Knitting and crocheting are useful skills to learn, enabling you to make rugs, bags, accessories and useful objects. To be held in conjunction with Knitting/ Crocheting club please see note.
Basic Sewing Skills with Nellie Hattin
$30 per class
Available on 1st or 3rd Wednesday of the month by arrangement 10am – 12noon
Learn the basics of machine sewing so you feel confident to create a simple skirt.
Please note you will need to – BYO sewing machine.
Bag or Book Workshop with Wendy Goode
$50 per class (Includes all materials for this workshop)
Available on 4th Wednesday of the month by arrangement 10am – 3pm
Produce a handy denim tote bag or denim notebook cover using fabric printing, applique, beading and basic machining techniques.

Cross-stitch with Susan Gard
Available on 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month by arrangement 1pm – 3pm If you enjoy embroidery come along and join Susan in making a small cross stitch Pin Cushion. Susan will show you the skills needed to stitch and count a cross stitch pattern. Susan can also help you with other types of embroidery.
Beginners’ Felting with Lyn Spence
Times Arranged to suite
Learn to make a felted flower. Lyn will teach you the basics of hand felting and you will come away with a beautiful flower.
Zentangle Art Therapy

Learn the art of Zentangle. It’s like doodling and so is easy to learn. The Zentangle method is enjoyed by people of all skill levels. It doesn’t require any previous art experience and the materials are inexpensive which makes it a great hobby that is not only affordable but portable. Join Gill for a relaxing couple of hours.
Girls Time Out
Gather a few friends and spend some time together and learn a new craft.

Watercolour Painting – with Maria Field – all levels welcome, the emphasis is placed on developing skills to compose your own paintings. $35 per class; materials are not included and a list will be provided when you book.

** FRIDAY WRAP IS RETURNING** Friday Wrap is a social group that will meet on the 4th Friday of the month from 6 – 8pm. It is simply time out to let go and ease into the weekend. It is called Wrap for a reason – Women Relaxing and Playing. $8 covers tea, coffee and nibbles – BYO tipple if you wish.
